Roohi (born 1997, Chittagong, Bangladesh) is a young, self-taught abstract painter. Her work, characterized by vibrant colors and dynamic forms, incorporates elements of abstract expressionism, lyrical abstraction, and gestural abstraction. 

Drawing inspiration from her diverse experiences living in Malaysia, Doha, London, Chittagong and now Dhaka, Roohi mixes her work with unique perspectives. She started studying political science at IIUM, Malaysia, and English literature at Goldsmiths, London, but did not complete her studies, finding her true passion in painting instead. 

Still searching for her own style, Roohi's experimental techniques and bold compositions reflect a confident and spontaneous approach, inviting viewers to explore her evolving artistic expression.
